ADVANCING SUSTAINABILITY: Winera's Solar PV System Generates over 31,000 kWh of Clean Energy in 2025
Winera’s solar photovoltaic (PV) system continued to perform strongly in 2025, generating a total of 31,058 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean, renewable electricity during the year. This represents an average monthly production of approximately 2,588 kWh, contributing to the company’s ongoing efforts to improve energy efficiency and reduce its environmental impact.
Peak Solar Production
Solar energy production naturally varies throughout the year depending on sunlight availability and weather conditions. In 2025, the system recorded its highest monthly output in March, producing 2,945 kWh of electricity. August followed closely behind with 2,938 kWh, while April generated 2,804 kWh. On a daily basis, the system achieved its highest energy production of 197 kWh on 8 September 2025, demonstrating the strong performance of the solar installation during periods of optimal sunshine.
Seasonal Variations
As expected with solar energy systems, production levels fluctuate during the year due to factors such as cloud cover, rainfall, and daylight hours. The lowest monthly yield occurred in December, when the system generated 2,226 kWh, followed closely by November with 2,251 kWh. The lowest daily output was recorded on 26 July 2025, when production dropped to 11 kWh, likely due to heavy cloud cover or reduced sunlight during that day.
Supporting Sustainability Goals
By generating renewable electricity on-site, Winera’s solar PV system helps reduce reliance on conventional energy sources while supporting the company’s sustainability initiatives. In 2025 alone, the system helped prevent an estimated 21–22 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions, reinforcing Winera’s commitment to responsible and environmentally conscious operations.
Generating 31,058 kWh of solar energy represents a meaningful step toward a cleaner future. The environmental impact of this energy production is comparable to planting hundreds of trees or removing thousands of miles of passenger car emissions from the road. By integrating renewable energy into our manufacturing processes, Winera continues to advance its ESG commitments and demonstrate that industrial efficiency and environmental stewardship can go hand in hand.
